تظاهرات در سرتاسر جهان در اولين سالگرد انتخابات مورد اختلاف ايران

June 12, 2010 marks one year since the systematic human & civil rights crackdowns following the election, which has led to the arrests and detainment of thousands of activists, students, writers, minorities, and everyday citizens.

Over 85 cities around the world are hosting events and actions to mark the day and to highlight the cases of various prisoners of conscience. [Read the press release]

Please highlight the day, share events with the media, and make footage of the support viral.  Do everything you can to help the people of Iran know  the international support they continue to have, a full year after the disputed election.

Starting June 11, 2010 -- and for 48 hours after -- Balatarin will stream footage of events worldwide on the popular website.

Mobile billboards highlighting the mistreatment of Iran's prisoners of conscience will run in several cities worldwide, including London (pictured above) and Los Angeles (pictured adjacent). A month long bus-ad campaign will run in the 2010 World Cup's host city, Johannesburg, South Africa, for the duration of the tournament.
