Message from @RTfromIran April 1 2010

Short summary of my personal view:

Shahar Shanbeh Suri was a very strong message not just to the Iranian Regime but also to anyone that calls him/herself GREEN.

Up to Shahar Shanbeh Suri people protested on days that the government usually hold rallies, with Mousavi and Karoubi calling for protests. The BIG difference this time was: Mousavi and Karoubi did not call for a protest; and it is an ancient Persian celebration; plus Khameini issued his fatwa, which was completely ignored by everyone. People came out and celebrated Shahar Shanbeh Suri BIG and this was a very strong message to the Iranian Regime and the so-called leaders of GREEN.

What does this message translate to? THIS MOVEMENT IS BIGGER than the Regime, Mousavi, Karoubi, Khatami, Rafsanjani and all of them put together. It can lead itself. The will of the people will lead it as they did up until now.

I have a personal idea: Until now people were invited to take part in protests that were called by Mousavi and Karoubi. How about we turn this around? The brave people of IRAN are inviting Mousavi and Karoubi to participate in 13 Bedar. Come and join us. Let's celebrate!

We listened to your calls, now it is time to listen to ours. If not 13 Bedar (because of the short notice) then surely the next. Personally I think that this is a great opportunity for Mousavi and Karoubi to gain more trust from people.

The one thing that would bring it all down in a matter of a week or less is a nationwide "STRIKE". And Mousavi said that the nation should go on strike if the Iranian Regime arrest him. Now my question is this: Mr. Mousavi, how is your situation any different than being arrested? You cannot do your job in freedom anyway. Why not call for a strike? I dont want to sound like an amateur and pretend that calling for a strike is easy, yet I think we should work towards it at a faster pace. People would listen at this stage. Anything that stops hurting people (physically) and helps to remove this tyrant is more than welcome. But what if we do not call for a strike? Iranian Regime will just let you, Mr Mousavi and Mr Karoubi, stay in your semi-arrest-situation, so you cannot call for a strike. At this stage it is wise to jump trains (if not already on it). People showed it with Shahar Shanbe Suri and will show it again on 13 Bedar!

Thanking you all as usual for all your attention. Much, much, much appreciated.
