The following are the names of a number of detainees from Iran’s Science and Technology University who were detained at an Ashura Day religious celebration held on December 27 and over the next two days, following a demonstration that was held to protest on the murders carried out on Ashura Day.  Some detainees had protested for the release of Kamran Asa, a brother of Martyr Kianoush Asa, who died in post-election events.  None of the detainees from these events have yet been released.

It has been reported that a number of detainees from this university have not been identified in this report.  The Intelligence apparatus has been flexing its muscles to put more pressure on the family members of other detained students in an effort to suppress any information.
