Shiva Nazarahari's Mother's Letter:

My daughter, it's as if the world has turned where people are sent to prison for the crimes of loving humanity and freedom and you have also been jailed for more than 6 mos. I, as your mother, am so proud of your precious being, you have always been one of the best and still are...
My daughter, when I went to university asking for your transcripts, all the faculty congradulated me in having such a patient daughter and prayed that no one will be imprisoned for Human and Freedom Loving....
And now, I scream with a loud screech from the bottom of my heart that Shiva has been nurtured in my arms if anyone has to be incarcerated, it is me, not Shiva...So, throw me in jail and free my child...

نامه مادر شیوا نظرآهاری: مرا دربند کنید و فرزندم را ازاد

دخترم، گویی رسم دنیا بر این شده که انسانها را به جرم آزادی خواهی و انسان دوستی در بند می کنند و تو نیز به این جرم بیش از 6 ماه است که در زندان به سر می بری و من به عنوان مادر به وجود نازنینت افتخار می کنم،چون همیشه جزءبهترین ها بودی و هستی ……….
دخترم زمانی که برای گرفتن مدرکت به دانشگاه مراجعه کردم تمامی مسئولین به من برای داشتن دختر بردباری همچون تو تبریک گفتن و دعا کردن که هیچ کس به جرم انسان دوستی و عدالت خواهی دربند نباشد ……….
و حال من با صدای بلند از صمیم قلب فریاد میزنم که شیوا در دامن من پرورش یافته و اگر قرار باشد کسی در زندان به سر ببرد من هستم نه شیوا
پس مرا دربند کنید و فرزندم را آزاد…….
