News from Evin - Those Released Speak of the Prisoners Inside

Jaras - These days Evin is an emotional turmoil. Laugher and cries interlude. Mothers await with impatience apparent in their eyes as they stare at the door to Evin, hoping for it to open and for their loved ones to be freed from this cage. Last night over 50 more prisoners were released.

Mohammad Taghi Khalaji Released

All eyes are on Evin, when suddenly the prison doors open and a spiritual leader whose white face was visible through the dim lights at Evin, walked out of the door. People began chanting praise and greetings to God (and Mohammad) upon seeing him. Even though they didn't know his name, they could sense that he was a well known prisoner. As the crowd began to whistle and clap, the freed prisoner waved his hand as a sign of happiness. This spiritual leader's name was Hajh Islam Khalaji.

Mohammad Taghi Khalaji, was arrested at his house on the 22nd of Dey. After six days in a special Clerical Court, his family was informed that he was transferred to solitary confinement at Evin prison in Tehran and that he was being interrogated. Mohammad Taghi Khalaji is one of the clerics very close to both Ayatolla Montazeri and Ayatolla Sanei. During his last speech at the house of Ayatolla Sanei on Tasoa, he paid tribute to Ayatolla Montazeri.

Memories of Keyvan Samimi

Some of the prisoners were from room #4 of ward 7 at Evin. Many had seen Keyvan Samimi and remembered his magnanimity and kindness. Samimi is the Editor of the banned monthly newsletter "Nameh" and a political activist. He was arrested and interrogated after protesting against the results of the election.

Ahmad Zeyd Abadi, the only prisoner who exercises!

Some of the prisoners had seen Ahmad Zeyd Abadi and said that he was in very good spirits and the only prisoner who exercised! They said that he had heard that he was going to be transferred to Rajai Shahr or Ghazal Hesar prison today.

Arrested for sending 22 Bahman SMS

Those released recounted that 50 well known political prisoners in ward 209 were transferred to ward 7. They also said that they had arrested an additional 200 people since yesterday for sending SMS messages regarding the 22nd of Bahman. Can you believe it? Charged with being run over by a police car!

One of the prisoners recounted that of the 16 that were sentenced, with a number of them sentenced to being Moharebs, only a few were arrested during Ashura. شبکه جنبش راه سبز(جرس): این روزها اوین حال و هوای دیگری دارد. اشک و لبخند با هم آمیخته است. مادران منتظری که با بی صبری چشم به اوین دوخته اند تا این در بی روح باز شود و عزیزشان از قفس آزاد شود. شب گذشته بیش از 50 تن دیگر آزاد شدند.

خلجی آزاد شد

چشمها به اوین دوخته بود که ناگاه در زندان باز شد و روحانی که صورت سفیدش در نور کم سوی جلوی زندان اوین هم دیده می شد، از دربیرون آمد. مردم که برای زندانیان صلوات می فرستادند با دیدن او که نامش را نمی دانستند اما حدس می زدند که زندانی نامداری است، سوت و کف و فریاد را همراه صلواتشان کردند و او برای مردم دستی از سر خوشحالی تکان داد. این روحانی حجه الاسلام خلجی بود.

محمد تقی خلجی، بیست و دوم دیماه، در خانهی خود بازداشت شد. پس از شش روز دادستانی دادگاه ويژه روحانيت به خانواده محمد تقی خلجی اطلاع داد که او به سلول انفرادی در زندان اوين، تهران، منتقل شده و تحت بازجويی است.

محمد تقی خلجی از روحانیون نزدیک به آيت الله منتظری و آيت الله صانعی به شمار میرود، در آخرين سخنرانی خود در شب تاسوعا در منزل آيت الله صانعی، از آيت الله منتظری تجليل کرد.

خاطره از کیوان صمیمی

برخی از زندانیان از اتاق 4 بند 7 بودند. بسیاری از آنها مهندس کیوان صمیمی را دیده بودند و از بزرگواری و مهربانی اش با خودشان خاطره داشتند.
یکی از جوانان آزاد شده می گفت که موقع آزاد شدن، دستش را به نشانه احترام بوسیده است.

صمیمی مدیرمسئول ماهنامه ادبی توقیف شده نامه و از فعالان سیاسی است. وی پس از اعتراضات به نتایج انتخابات تحت بازجویی و بازداشت بوده است.

زید آیادی تنها زندانی که ورزش می کند!

برخی از زندانیان، احمد زید آبادی را دیده بودند و می گفتند روحیه اش خیلی خوب بوده و تنها زندانی بوده که ورزش می کرده است. می گوید که شنیده است که او را امروز به زندان رجایی شهر یا قزل حصار برده اند.

بازداشت برای ارسال پیامک 22 بهمن

آزاد شده ها می گویند که 50 نفر را از بند 209 که زندانیان معروف سیاسی در آنجا هستند را به بند 7 منتقل کرده اند. همچنین می گویند که 200 نفر را ظرف دیروز و امروز به خاطر اس ام اس 22 بهمن دستگیر کرده اند، فقط به دلیل ارسال پیامک در باره 22 بهمن.

اتهام: زیر گرفته شدن توسط ماشین پلیس!

همچنین یکی از زندانیان می گفت 16 نفری که محاکمه شده اند و برخی از آنها اتهامشان محاربه است، فقط چند تن شان دستگیر شده های عاشورا هستند.
زن و شوهری که در میان این عده هستند، دو نفری هستند که در روز عاشورا توسط ماشین نیروی انتظامی زیر گرفته شده اند و دست و پایشان شکسته است،
وقتی برای درمان به بیمارستان می روند، دستگیر می شوند . آنها تحت فشار هستند که نگویند با ماشین نیروی انتظامی تصادف کرده اند.

اتهام محاربه برای آنها به دلیل زیر گرفته شدن شان توسط نیروی انتظامی است!
