Khomeini arriving in Tehran, and meeting with officials ..
Last Wednesday marked the anniversary of the return of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to Iran from his exile in France, in 1979. To mark the occasion the Iranian authorities once again organized an official reception ceremony.
Events began with a recreation of his arrival at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran (It should be noted that Khomeini had arrived on a French airline, while it appears in this image a plane was used belonging to the airline of the Islamic Republic in Iran). And so the idolatrous charade continued ..
