Amnesty In has called for unconditional freedom of political prisoner Heshmat Tabarzadi

Amnesty International called for the unconditional freedom of Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, a veteran activist for human  rights in Iran. In February 2010 the detention order for imprisoned political activist Heshmatollah Tabarzadi was extended for an unknown length of time by Tehran’s court.

In October 2009 Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, leader of the banned Democratic Front of Iranian People (DFIP), was relased from prison after serving more than six months in solitary confinement. Heshmatollah Tabarzadi was arrested at April 17 2009 by special units of the Islamic Revolution’s Guards after he had criticised Iran’s regime and called for a revision of Iran’s constitution.

Heshmatollah Tabarzadi has been fighting the Iranian regime for over a decade. On 17 June 1999, Heshmatollah Tabarzadi was summoned to a tribunal at the office of the revolutionary prosecutor, in Evin prison, and arrested after questioning and was arrested after being questioned about publishing information contrary to “public order and the public interest”.

Heshmatollah Tabarzadi is momentarily detained in Evin prison and subjcted to isolation and torture.

عفو بین الملل خواستار آزادی حشمت الله طبرزدی شد
کمیته دانشجویی دفاع از زندانیان سیاسی – سازمان عفو بین الملل خواستار آزادی بی قید و شرط حشمت الله طبرزدی شد و برای او کمپین اقدام فوری راه انداخت.

سازمان عفو بین الملل در بیانیه که روز چهارشنبه در لندن منتشر شد ضمن اعتراض به بازداشت و شکنجه حشمت الله طبرزدی، خواستار آزادی بی قید و شرط رهبر جبهه دمکرانیک ایران از زندان اوین شد.

این سازمان حقوق بشری در بیانیه خود که برای برای آزادی فوری طبرزدی منشر کرده از همگان خواست تا با تماس با مقامات جمهوری اسلامی در سراسر دنیا نگرانی و اعتراض خود را نسبت به بازداشت و شکنجه طبرزدی ابراز دارند.
